PRP is a well-established treatment for the rejuvenation of the skin and its annexes. With its particular ability to stimulate collagen, it is considered a regenerative procedure.
The treatment cycle normally includes three consecutive sessions, monthly. Following sessions are carried out every six months.
However, we recommend a visit with the specialist to define the specific protocol tailored to the patient's needs.
The procedure is very simple. The treatment begins with a blood sample, in fact 30 ml of blood are taken. The bottle is then transferred to a special centrifuge which, in 5 minutes of activity, allows the blood cells to separate. The corpuscular part, in fact, settles on the bottom, while the plasma remains "afloat". With a special instrument, Platelet Rich Plasma is taken (about 3-4 cc) and then injected into the skin and near the hair (if trichological therapy is required).
Specific blood tests are required to perform the treatment. Request them with this link.
